After breakfast in the hotel, we will check out and your guide will pick you up to start Pingyao Ancient City exploration. 

It is regarded as one of the most well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient cities in China and a World Heritage Site. Built in the Ming Dynasty, the ancient city retains a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, making it one of the typical representatives of traditional Chinese ancient cities. The Ming-Qing Street retains a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including buildings of merchants, government offices and mansions, which demonstrate the commercial and administrative culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Rishengchang was the meeting place of the ancient Chamber of Commerce for business exchanges and deliberation of important matters. The Ancient Government Office tells everything about the bureaucracy of the feudal society. If time allows, you shouldn’t miss the Temple of City God, Confucius Temple and museums in different themes. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of old times lifestyle and appreciate the charms of old China.

After visiting, we will transfer back to Taiyuan to catch your High speed train.
