After breakfast, your guide will take you on a walking tour (about 10 minutes from the hotel) to visit Black Dragon Cave (an ancient complex of buildings on the hillside). The ancient temple and school buildings here were built in 14 BC. Many of these buildings are still well preserved today. This is also a good place to enjoy an aerial view of the town. Lunch will be served en route at a local restaurant. Then you will be transferred to a Xijia minority village where you will have a family visit to learn about this small tribe in China. You will hike to another authentic Gejia minority village, which is famous for its batik! You will have a chance to see and learn the way of batik making. A special batik technique is used in the production process, which gives the fabric special patterns and designs.
Lastly after the village, your guide will take you back to Guiyang and journey ends!
