After breakfast, we drove to Kaili, the capital of the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of southeast Guizhou. First, en-route visit the stunning Gaoyao Rice Terrace fields (seasonal sightseeing). It is an original terraced landscape. The terraces here are layered and extend like a dragon's ridge, creating a spectacular natural landscape. In different seasons and weather conditions, the Gao Yao terraces have their own beautiful appearance.

Then, head for the nearby Danzhai Village to experience the "Batik Art". Danzhai Batik is famous for its unique dyeing technique and brilliant colors. A special batik technique is used in the production process, which gives the fabric special patterns and designs.

You will drive to Shiqiao to experience ancient papermaking. Shiqiao Miao village is located in Danzhai County of Guizhou Province and has a history of more than 2,000 years of papermaking since the middle of the Tang Dynasty. Then you will visit Qingman Miao Village. The villagers in the Miao Walled City have preserved the ancient traditional way of life and folk culture, so tourists can get a close understanding and feel the daily life and customs of the Miao people. In addition, you can watch the Miao singing and dancing performances, participate in their festival celebrations as well as learn about their handicraft and textile skills.
