Today features visits to 2 of the most important monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism – the Drepung and Sera Monasteries. Drepung Monastery is the biggest monastery in Tibet. It's a stunning sight that's perfect for taking memorable photos.

After Drepung, we will move on to the Sera Monastery, one of the three great monasteries in Lhasa.​Many of its main halls still preserve ancient frescoes, showcasing their historical and artistic significance. ​Its main activity is sutra debating and is a traditional academic activity in which monks deepen their understanding, cultivate wisdom and pass on the Dharma by debating the contents of the Buddhist classics.
