After breakfast, our guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby and help you check out. Then, you will take a car ride to the Hanging Monastery which is famous for its special architecture, which is situated on a steep canyon wall and appears to be hanging in the air, giving it a feeling like a flying pavilion in the sky. Afterwards, you will be escorted to admire the Wooden Pagoda in Yingxian County. It is one of the oldest surviving and fully functional wooden pagodas in China, built in 952 AD, almost a thousand years ago.
You will then continue your journey to Mt. Wutai by a 2.5 hour drive. The guide will take you to check in a local hotel upon arrival.
