After breakfast in the hotel, we will check out and your guide will pick you up to start Pingyao Ancient City exploration. 

Drive about 1 hour to Jinci Temple(the oldest wooden structure in Taiyuan). As a memorial site for Lu Xun, Jinci showcases his intellectual and literary achievements and carries reverence and remembrance for him. The place attracts a large number of tourists and culture lovers to visit and learn. For those who are interested in Lu Xun and Chinese culture, the Jin Ancestral Temple is a must-visit place.

We gonna Visit for 1~2 hours and go to the world cultural heritage Pingyao Ancient City（1.5h drive）.You will start a walking tour of the Pingyao Old City. It is regarded as one of the most well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient cities in China and a World Heritage Site. Built in the Ming Dynasty, the ancient city retains a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, making it one of the typical representatives of traditional Chinese ancient cities.The Ming Qing Street  retains a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including buildings of merchants, government offices and mansions, which demonstrate the commercial and administrative culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Rishengchang it was the meeting place of the ancient Chamber of Commerce for business exchanges and deliberation of important matters. The Ancient Government Office tells everything about the bureaucracy of the feudal society. If time allows, you shouldn’t miss the Temple of City God, with its solemn and exquisite architecture, the City God Temple is one of the important cultural attractions in Pingyao Ancient City. You can experience the religious atmosphere and learn about the culture of the City God inside the temple, as well as view the sculptures, murals and other artefacts inside the temple.
