After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the ferry terminal. You will then take a 20-minute luxury ferry ride to the peaceful Gulangyu Island, the first highlight of Xiamen. Don't forget to take some stunning photos of the city of Xiamen and the Lujiang Strait on the ferry.

Step out of the ferry, welcome to Gulangyu Island-the "garden on the sea". ​Then you are transferred to the ferry on a 20-minute ferry boat trip to Gulangyu Island. Across the sea from the city of Xiamen, it offers both a unique overseas Chinese flavor and delicious southern Fujian specialties. A variety of exotic architecture makes Gulangyu unique.

You are also arranged to also visit Shuzhuang Garden, which is a historical private garden that combines Chinese and Western garden styles with exquisite architecture, flowers and trees. It is one of the important attractions of Gulangyu Island, attracting many tourists to enjoy the beauty of the garden and feel the strong historical atmosphere.After lunch, continue to visit South Putuo Temple. Adjacent to Xiamen University and dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, visitors to South putuo Temple can enjoy the tranquil Buddhist atmosphere, appreciate the temple's ancient architectural style, as well as participate in Buddhist activities to feel the purification and peace of mind. Then you will go to the highlight of Xiamen-the Hulishan Fortress，which is a century-old fortress that was once one of the most important installations of China's modern naval defense. Visitors can visit the ruins of the fortress and explore its sturdy architectural structure and historical origins, while enjoying the magnificent seascape and surrounding natural landscape and experiencing the beauty of the fusion of history and nature.After visiting the Island Ring Road along the East Coast of Xiamen, you will be transferred back to your hotel, airport, train station, or any other places in downtown Xiamen, like a restaurant or a bar if you like.
