Today you will travel to Kaili, about 180 km from Rongjiang County. It is the capital of the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Qiandongnan. Along the way there are three amazing villages to visit and very beautiful countryside to enjoy.

Datang Miao village is also known as Xinqiao village by the locals, a small but beautiful short-skirted Hmong village whose women wear homemade short skirts year-round, even when doing farm work.  This tradition has been going on for over six hundred years.Wujiamiao village is famous for its superb batik and embroidery skills, which are listed as intangible cultural heritage at the provincial level. The architecture and customs there are also very primitive.

Langde Miao Village. It is a historical Hmong village. Nestled between winding mountains and surrounded by dense forests, this Miao village offers beautiful scenery. Langde Miao Village is famous for its original Miao culture and natural scenery.
