In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Lake Namtso, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, is renowned as a holy site in Tibetan Buddhism. The reflection of snow-capped mountains on its tranquil waters evokes a sense of peace and serenity. Every year on the 15th day of the fourth month in the Tibetan calendar, numerous laypeople gather at Namtso to celebrate the Saga Dawa Festival.​

Drive back to Dumxung or Yampachen.
