First, you’ll be transferred out of Lijiang Old Town to Yuhu Village. It is a typical Bai village. There are old Bai dwellings, ancient wells, ancient trees and other scenery, preserving the traditional Bai culture and architectural features. Visitors can feel the peaceful rural atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery here.
Later, head to Baisha Village and appreciate the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings. It is the most well-preserved and largest Ming Dynasty mural group in China. These murals were created by Bai folk artists with natural mineral pigments on the rock walls of the village, and include myths and legends, historical stories, and farming life.
Then, it is followed by a relaxing trip to Shuhe Ancient Town - There are well-preserved traditional Bai buildings, charming ancient streets and alleys and ancient bridges, as well as clear rivers and beautiful natural scenery. Here you can stroll through the ancient streets, taste the local cuisine, visit the Bai Folk House Museum and experience the unique cultural atmosphere of the ancient town.
After that, transfer to Dongba Culture Museum. With the theme of Naxi culture in Lijiang, the unique history and folklore of Lijiang is presented to the audience through wonderful performances, lighting and music. The whole performance is based on the traditional culture of Naxi people, and through the art forms of dance, music, singing and stunts, it shows important scenes of Naxi folk customs and habits, traditional weddings, funeral ceremonies and so on.
