The first destination is the Temple of Heaven. It was the place for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties to worship heaven, pray for grain and rain. It is the largest remaining ancient sacrificial complex in China.Then, back in the city center, take a time-filled rickshaw ride to Beijing's hutongs, alleys of varying widths made up of courtyard homes. Walk through the different hutongs, feel the charm of Beijing's traditional architecture and historical changes, and visit the old Beijingers who live in the hutongs.Beijing's hutong, regarded as a brick history, is a "record" with seven twists and turns.
