After arriving in Beijing by train, we will visit the best preserved and most complete royal garden —— the Summer Palace, a royal garden in China during the Qing Dynasty, formerly known as the Garden of Clear Ripples, is situated in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometres from the city, with the entire garden covering an area of 3.009 square kilometres (of which the Summer Palace World Cultural Heritage Area covers an area of 2.97 square kilometres), with the water surface accounting for about three-quarters of the area.
