Our first attraction today is Da Cien Temple, which was built during the Tang Dynasty and is very solemn and spectacular. Many precious cultural relics and artifacts are preserved in the temple, including sculptures, Buddha statues and murals. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda holds a rich collection of Buddhist cultural relics and scriptures, which are of great significance to the study of Buddhist art and culture in the Tang Dynasty. Climbing up the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city of Xi'an.
Next we head to the Shaanxi History Museum. The museum has a large collection of historical relics covering all periods from the Neolithic to the modern era. The museum showcases the rich and colorful history and culture of Shaanxi, including pottery, bronzes, calligraphy, paintings and precious Han Dynasty relics.
The rest of the day you can arrange by yourself until be transferred to catch your flight to Zhangjiajie. Currently the direct flights from Xian to Zhangjiajie only depart after 10PM. You may arrive at Zhangjiajie after 12 A.M. You can let your tour guide know that you don't want to start tomorrow's sightseeing too early.
