Today you will cross 39° North Latitude, the longest hinterland of Taklimakan Desert, located in the centre of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang's southern border, is the largest desert in China, the tenth largest in the world and the world's second largest flowing desert. Located in the centre of the Eurasian continent and surrounded by high mountains on all sides, the Taklamakan Desert is full of fantastic and mysterious colours.
However, along the way you will pass through the Populus euphratica forest. When the sun sets, you may come to the Tarim River Bund, where the Tarim River is rippling in the sunset, and the golden-coloured poplar forests stand quietly under the setting sun, which is unforgettable.
Following lunch in the local restaurant, we will drive all the way to Aksu for an overnight stay.
