Only exploring the exotic culture of Tibet is not enough, you also have to enjoy its natural beauty. So today, you are going to visit the picturesque Namtso Lake, which is about 220km from Lhasa city.

Namtso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, is renowned as a holy site in Tibetan Buddhism. The reflection of snow-capped mountains on its tranquil waters evokes a sense of peace and serenity. Every year on the 15th day of the fourth month in the Tibetan calendar, numerous laypeople gather at Namtso to celebrate the Saga Dawa Festival.​

After the sightseeing, drive back to Lhasa. (Optional: if you want, you can spend a night there to watch the amazing sunset and sunrise. But this arrangement needs you to add one extra day to your tour.)
