You many think of elephants when dreaming about Xishuangbanna. If you want to see the elephants, then Wild Elephant Valley is the largest wild elephant domestication farm in China and an important base for the protection and research of Asian elephants. There is a perfect elephant training system here, and visitors can watch wonderful elephant performances, as well as close contact and interaction to understand the habits and characteristics of Asian elephants.
After a close encounter with the elephants, we will go an ancient Dai village - Manzhang, to discover the lifestyle of Dai people. Manzhang Dai Village is in tune with nature and very traditional.
At the big Dai traditional culture exhibition and experience hall, you can get a close-up understanding of the history, folklore, national costumes, music and dance, and handicrafts of the Dai people. Inside the museum, displays and exhibitions on traditional Dai weddings, festivals and celebrations, farming culture and religious beliefs are usually displayed.
