Drive out of Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall of China (approximately 150 km). Compared with other sections of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is well-preserved and relatively less visited by tourists, so it is considered one of the ideal places to visit the Great Wall.

The Mutianyu Great Wall has beautiful scenery and steep mountains, and there are several viewing platforms and defences in the scenic area, where you can take a stroll and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall. Visit Puning Temple upon arrival.

The temple is home to many exquisite Buddhist temples, pagodas and sculptures, and is known as the "Pearl of Temples in the North". Puning Monastery is a peaceful and tranquil place where you can feel the atmosphere of Buddhist culture and enjoy the magnificent architecture and unique Tibetan Buddhist artefacts.
