Day 3 Rilong Town – Dafeng Base Camp Hiking

Hotel: Hut for overnight at Base Camp

Start from your guesthouse and enter the east valley of Mount Siguniang, the Haizi Valley, deeply loved by hiking enthusiasts. Take the horse trails in the forest and arrive at base camp after usually 7 hours’ walking.

Overnight in the hut by Dafeng Base Camp. Today you will be walking through grass, mud and some parts will be quite strenuous. There are three main sections where you need to walk from 3200m to 4300m which is quite a high altitude. Note that you have a full day's walking ahead of you so there is no need to put too much pressure on yourself, but don't waste time either as you will arrive at base camp before sunset so you have enough time to rest for the night. Tonight you will use your own sleeping bag to rest
