After breakfast, follow your guide to the excursion bus that will take you to the cable car station. Board the cable car with your guide to ascend Emei Shan to the Golden Summit.
The scenic area can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise, and also worship the world's highest golden Buddha - the four sides of the universal sage icon. Standing on the mountain, you can sometimes see Chengdu Plain and Gongga Snow Mountain.There are scenic spots such as the Huazang Temple and the Ten Fang Puxian Bodhisattva icon.
After disembarking, you will find yourself in a sea of clouds at an altitude of 9,842 feet (3,000 meters). If you get up early enough, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the top of the mountain where many people travel from far and wide. Visit the tallest golden statue, the Woyun Nunnery and Hua Zang Si, which stands at 157 feet (48 meters). Explore two traditional Buddhist temples, Wolunan and Huazang Temple, where you'll find countless padlocks engraved with couples' names, symbolizing eternal love. After a full day on Mount Emei, your guide will take you back to the cable car for your descent, where you will begin your journey back to Chengdu.
Ten Thousand Buddha Top (Ten Thousand Buddha Peak) Optional Tour:Wanfoding (Ten Thousand Buddha Top) (3,099 meters) is the highest peak of Mount Emei, which is currently reopened for visitors under 60 years old, but the opening hours are from 07:00~14:00, and the maximum number of people that can be accommodated per day is only 2,000 people. If you want to visit the Top of Ten Thousand Buddhas, time permitting, please discuss with your guide. Visiting the Top of Ten Thousand Buddhas usually takes 2~3 hours.
