This morning, your driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel at 09:00 and take you to Menghai (55 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes). Visit the Morning Menghai bazaar. This is a famous bazaar in Xishuangbanna region and an important place for local people to communicate and trade. Then, take you to Manzhao village (25km, about 40 minutes), you will see the traditional Dai papermaking technology. It has unique architectural style, beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural traditions. You can stroll around the village, admire the national costumes of the villagers and learn about the lifestyle and traditional customs of the Dai people.
After visiting Manzhao, you will return to Jinghong (75km, about 2 hours). On the way, you can take a walk among Nannuoshan Mountain. It is one of the highest peaks in Xishuangbanna region and is known as the "roof of Xishuangbanna". It is a natural ecological treasure trove with dense primitive forests, exotic plants and clear streams. You can choose to go hiking to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and the tranquility and magnificence of nature. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your original departure point.
