Today you will explore Dazu Stone carvings with your guide. Dazu stone carvings represent the highest level of grotto art in the world from 9 to 13 centuries AD, and are the last monument in the history of human grotto art. It shows the major development and changes of the artistic style of Chinese grottoes in the Tang and Song dynasties from different aspects, and has irreplaceable historical, artistic and scientific value of the earlier grottoes. It is famous for its large scale, exquisite carving, diverse subject matter, rich connotation and well-preserved.

Among them, the cliff statue of Baoding Mountain is the largest and the most exquisite.
