Our first attraction today is Da Cien Temple, which was built during the Tang Dynasty and is very solemn and spectacular. Many precious cultural relics and artifacts are preserved in the temple, including sculptures, Buddha statues and murals. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda holds a rich collection of Buddhist cultural relics and scriptures, which are of great significance to the study of Buddhist art and culture in the Tang Dynasty. Climbing up the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city of Xi'an.
Next we head to the Shaanxi History Museum. The museum has a large collection of historical relics covering all periods from the Neolithic to the modern era. The museum showcases the rich and colorful history and culture of Shaanxi, including pottery, bronzes, calligraphy, paintings and precious Han Dynasty relics.
After lunch, stroll through the Ancient Wall, the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China, is one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. Leave the city walls for a leisurely stroll along the bustling Muslim Quarter, where you can sample different local snacks and explore Muslim culture. Don't miss Xi 'an's Great Mosque, a blend of Chinese and Islamic culture in a surprisingly quiet place in bustling Xi 'an.
