Our first stop will be a viewpoint by the Jinsha River and later we will be dropped off at the trail head and start our hike. It's about a 2.5-hour walk to reach the lunch place, the initial 1 hour is uphill until reaching a worthy viewpoint and the remaining part is downhill or flat. From the lunch place, we have another 1 hour 30 min to the Halfway Lodge, our endpoint for the day.
