The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.
After lunch, we continued our visit to Wenshu Temple. Wenshu Yuan Monastery, originally named Xinxiang, was built from 605 to 617 AD. It is the head of the four major Zen forests in the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province. Wenshu Courtyard went through Tang, five dynasties, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, and was destroyed by the war at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
Then proceed to Kuanzhai Alley. Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi literally means "wide and narrow alley" (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi). Here they are specifically referring to two famous lanes in Chengdu - Kuan Xiang Zi (Wide Alley) and Narrow Alley (Narrow Lane). Both Kuan Xiang Zi and Narrow Alley Zi are ancient alleys in Chengdu that have been transformed since the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
