After breakfast today, our guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby at the agreed time. You will first visit Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the centre of Beijing and the symbol of China. It is the largest city square in the world, covering an area of 440,000 square metres and can accommodate 1 million people. Then explore the Forbidden City. It is located in the centre of Beijing's central axis, was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is also the world's largest and most well-preserved wooden structure of palace-type buildings. On your way out, head to Jingshan Park.Jingshan Park is located in Jingshanqian Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, located on the central axis of the Ming and Qing dynasties of Beijing, facing the North Sea in the west and the Shenwu Gate of the Forbidden City across the street in the south. Jingshan Mountain in the center of the park was made of piles of earth and was once the commanding point of the city.
Finally, you will end the day by walking through authentic hutongs. Beijing's hutongs are not only the veins of the city and the thoroughfares of the traffic, but also the places where the common people of Beijing live and the important stage for the historical and cultural development of the capital.
