It is a national AAAA tourist area, a national scenic spot, a provincial forest park, one of the 18 scenic spots in Wuxi and one of the top ten scenic spots in Yixing. Yixing is rich in bamboo, known as "the sea of bamboo" since ancient times. The bamboo sea stretches across Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, spanning more than 800 miles, forming a sea of jade. The Bamboo Sea Scenic spot is located in the center of the bamboo sea, and the 10,000 mu of green bamboo fluctuates with the mountain, like the rolling waves, continuous flow, known as "the first bamboo sea in East China", is the representative scenic spot of bamboo scenery, bamboo customs and bamboo culture in China.
