Your Chengdu tour starts in the early morning today, the guide will pick up you at your hotel, and then head for the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center in the suburb. Here is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base.
The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.
After lunch, you will walk in the Wide and Narrow Alley. The Wide and Narrow Alley is located near Changshun Street, Qingyang District. It consists of wide alleys, narrow alleys and well alleys, which are arranged in parallel, all of which are ancient courtyard houses with Qingdai brick tiles. It is also a relatively large Qing Dynasty ancient street left over from Chengdu.
In the late afternoon your guide will take you to Bamboo Garden, also called Wangjiang Park, built 1000 years ago. It is to commemorate famous women poet Ms Xutao in Tang dynasty. The highlight of the park is also its forests boasting of 100 varieties of bamboo.
Hot Pot of Chengdu is well known in China. Sichuan hot pot began to spread around the Qing Dynasty Guang Dynasty (1821-1851), which has a history of 4,000 years. Due to the climate and terrain, spicy Sichuan hotpot can help dispel cold and dampness. It is because of cultural and environmental factors, hot pot has become the diet gene of Chengdu people.
After dinner your guide will send you back your hotel, have a good rest in hotel, and prepare for next day's tour.
