Begin your tour of Chengdu with pickup from your centrally located hotel. Board a private vehicle and drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Here is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.
Then, continue to Wenshu Monastery, originally named Xinxiang, was built from 605 to 617 AD. It is the head of the four major Zen forests in the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province. Wenshu Courtyard went through Tang, five dynasties, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, and was destroyed by the war at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
After lunch, visit the People’s Park in central Chengdu. Relax in bamboo armchairs and sip jasmine tea like the locals while learning about day-to-day life in Chengdu. On your way out of the park, walk down Kuan-Zhai Lane, a street notable for its historic importance and contemporary charm. Return to your hotel or any other specified drop-off point at the end of your tour.
