In the morning, our driver and guide can meet you at the Chengdu hotel at 09:00am or Chengdu airport/train station then transfer to the Leshan and need 2.5hrs driving, 150km. Note: If you need us meet you at the airport/train station, you should be there before 13:00pm.
Experience the Giant Buddha of Leshan, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is near the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Minjiang rivers. The giant Buddha is the seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China. The Big Buddha is a statue of Maitreya, graceful and magnanimous, and is praised by the poet as "a mountain is a Buddha, and a Buddha is a mountain."
Next, go to Bao Guo Temple. One of the national key temples, 533 meters above sea level. The temple faces south and covers an area of 100 mu. Originally the largest temple in the mountains, its original site in the Fuhu Temple opposite the Yoga River, was built in the Ming Wanli years, formerly known as the Huizang Hall, moved here in the early Qing Dynasty, Shunzhi nine years of reconstruction; In the forty-second year of Kangxi, the emperor Kangxi took the meaning of "serving the country's main grace" in the Buddhist sutra "Four graces and four newspapers", and the imperial title of "Serving the country's Temple" was inscribed on the board, which was written by Wang Fan.
