Depart from your Beijing hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and admire the rural scenery as you escape bustling Beijing. Stop first at the Great Wall of China, Badaling Great Wall is the most famous section of the Great Wall. You can choose to take a cable car or hike to the top. Taking the cable car will save you more time and energy, and you will be able to get a great view of the Great Wall from the top. However, the hiking option will allow you to enjoy more of the scenery on the way up, depending on your choice. Be sure to let your guide know your choice when you arrive.
After thorough exploration of the ancient wonder, head to the sacred Ming tombs to discover the burial grounds of ancient Ming emperors.The Ming 13 Tombs, a national scenic spot, is located at the southern foot of Tianshoushan Mountain in Changping District, 50 kilometres north of Beijing, and is the mausoleum complex of the thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), which is characterised by a grand scale, a complete system and a relatively complete preservation. The area has a beautiful natural landscape and an abundance of cultural relics and monuments.
The mausoleum area is surrounded by mountains, with a plain in the centre and a small river twisting and winding in front of the mausoleum. Currently open attractions include the Divine Path, Changling Mausoleum, Dingling Mausoleum and Zhaoling Mausoleum.
