Mutianyu Great Wall
Your driver and guide will pick you up from your Beijing city hotel at 8:00am. It takes about 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall from downtown Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall is connected to the Juyongguan Great Wall in the west and the Gubeikou Great Wall in the east, which has been the military stronghold guarding Beijing since ancient times, and is known as the "Dangerous Ridge Pass".
Mutianyu Great Wall architectural construction style is unique, dense enemy buildings, especially three enemy buildings and stands one of the main customs platform. China and foreign countries enjoy the reputation of "the Great Wall of China, Mutianyu alone". The mountains in the scenic area are stacked, and the vegetation coverage rate reaches more than 90%. Late autumn is the best time to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall.
The round-trip cable car will be arranged so that you can save more time on the Wall. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.
After a nice lunch at local Chinese restaurants, we will visit the Ming Tombs. The Ming 13 Tombs, a national scenic spot, is located at the southern foot of Tianshoushan Mountain in Changping District, 50 kilometres north of Beijing, and is the mausoleum complex of the thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), which is characterised by a grand scale, a complete system and a relatively complete preservation. The area has a beautiful natural landscape and an abundance of cultural relics and monuments.
After finishing your trip to Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
