Drive out of Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall of China (approximately 150 km). Compared with other sections of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is well-preserved and relatively less visited by tourists, so it is considered one of the ideal places to visit the Great Wall.

Morning visit to Putuo Zonghseng Temple, modeled after the Potala Palace of Tibet, the residence of the Dalai Lama built a century earlier. Many of its halls and pavilions are adorned with copper and gold tiled roofs, adding to the splendor of the site. Continue with a visit to the Imperial Summer Palace of Mountain Resort, The Temple of Putuo Zongxian is the birthplace of the Putuo Sect of Buddhism in China. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it is mainly dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. There are many ancient buildings and cultural relics in the temple, where you can worship and pray for blessings and feel the religious atmosphere while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the mountains.
