Compared with other sections of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is well-preserved and relatively less visited by tourists, so it is considered one of the ideal places to visit the Great Wall.
The Mutianyu Great Wall has beautiful scenery and steep mountains, and there are several viewing platforms and defences in the scenic area, where you can take a stroll and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall.You will have 1.5-2 hours to trek on the wall by yourself.
Afterwards, make a photo stop at two architectural icons from the 2008 Olympic that are still standing: Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.Today, the Bird's Nest has become a landmark and tourist attraction in Beijing. Originating from the roots of classical Chinese culture, Tai Chi Chuan absorbed a variety of sources including the Book of Changes, Taoism and Buddhism. With a professional Tai Chi Master's teaching, you will understand Chinese culture better.
After that, we will drive to the highlights in Xi’an ---the Terracotta Warriors. On the way to Terracotta Warriors, we will have a stop at a cave dwelling pottery workshop, where you will have chance to learn how to make a miniature terracotta warrior.The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are one of the great wonders of Chinese history and are located near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in the city of Xi'an.The tour finishes by dropping-off at the hotel lobby.
