Explore Beijing from the world’s largest public square, Tiananmen Square. It is one of the largest city squares in the world, located in the centre of Beijing, and is one of the symbols of China. The square is vast and often hosts a variety of grand events and celebrations, such as the annual flag-raising ceremony for National Day.Walk to the Forbidden City from Tiananmen Square. It was the imperial palace of China during the Ming and Qing dynasties and is located on the central axis in the centre of Beijing,learning the legendary story of the emperors and how the royal family lived there.
After Forbidden City exploration, take a short visit to Jingshan Park where you can get a nice shot of one watchtower of Forbidden City and take a panoramic view of Forbidden City.In the afternoon, drive about 40 minutes to the outskirts of Beijing to spend an enjoyable time in Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. Stroll around ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and corridors. Feast your eyes on the vast lotus in Kunming Lake and the colored paintings in Long Corridor.

It will be an exciting day today. It will be an exciting day today.Drive out of Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall of China (approximately 150 km). Compared with other sections of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is well-preserved and relatively less visited by tourists, so it is considered one of the ideal places to visit the Great Wall.
The Mutianyu Great Wall has beautiful scenery and steep mountains, and there are several viewing platforms and defences in the scenic area, where you can take a stroll and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall.You will have 1.5-2 hours to trek on the wall by yourself.Then drive by the Olympic National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest. You will see its unique appearance and take nice photos at a distance. Today's last stop is a featured local market.
Continue your trip to Sacred Way, a 7-kilometer-long passage leading to the Imperial Tombs of 13 Emperors of Ming Dynasty. The Emperor, known as the Son of the Heaven, who came from Heaven to his country through the Sacred Way, also would return to Heaven through this road.

After breakfast,you will be transferred back to the hotel.Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture.
In the afternoon, we will Temple of Heaven,another famous scenic spot in Beijing, which was used to hold a memorial ceremony for the God in Winter Solstice Festival and to pray for harvest in the first month of the lunar year by the emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties.
Then get back to the central city to hop on a rickshaw to experience the Beijing Hutongs - small alleys made by neighboring quadrangle dwellings. Shuttle among different Hutongs to get a feel of the old Beijing life style, visit various antique shops and small boutiques, and truly feel the historical changes of Beijing, also pay a visit to a local family’s home in the traditional Hutongs.

Today we start to explore the ancient city by driving to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. It is the guardian of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and is a magnificent group of terracotta warriors considered one of the eighth wonders of the world.A Chinese Lunch will be arranged nearby the scenic area of Terracotta Warriors. Lunch is on your own, but your guide will recommend restaurants around the site according to your preference.Standing in front of these figures, one can’t help being amazed not only by the ambition of Emperor Qin Shihuang but also by the fabulous artistic skills of ancient Chinese artisans.
After lunch, return back to Xian take a wonderful stroll on the Ancient City Wall, the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China. Enjoy panoramic views of modern Xian while you leisurely examine this well-maintained city wall which is 12 meters high and 18 meters wide with a total circuit of nearly 14 kilometers. This visit is followed by a relaxing wander around bustling and lively Muslim Quarter, a place where you can try different local snacks and explore Muslim culture.

After breakfast, head to Da Cien Temple, a famous Buddhist sutra translation site during the Tang Dynasty. Followed by is Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a square brick pagoda built to store Buddhism scripts brought from ancient India.
Located in the southern suburb of Xi'an, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the famous ancient buildings in China. Climbing up the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, visitors can overlook the surrounding scenery and the whole city. It is also an important destination for Buddhist culture, and visitors can enjoy the rich Buddhist cultural art and historical relics.Here, you will have an experience to wear the traditional clothes of Han Nationality to stroll around.Then, your guide will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. After arrival, you will be met and led to the hotel by the local guide.Seize this rare opportunity to take some photos to record this unique memory!
Next is an educational visit to the Shaanxi History Museum where you can ramble in the modern exhibition halls to appreciate historic relics such as porcelains, paintings, and currencies dating from the Zhou to the Tang dynastic periods (1100BC to 907 AD).Shaanxi History Museum may be replaced with other activity or attraction because of crowding tourists during July ~ early September and China’s National Day during Oct.1-Oct.7.
