Today we start to explore this city treasure by a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city center square, the locality of numerous major political and historical events. It is the witness of Chinese development. You will also be able to have a photo stop at The National Centre for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the National Grand Theatre, and colloquially described as The Egg.
Afterwards, a few walk to Forbidden City, the world's existing largest and most complete ancient wooden structure buildings. You will explore the glorious palace halls and gardens for more than 2 hours in Forbidden City, learning the legendary story of the emperors and how the royal family lived there.Next activity is to hop on a rickshaw to experience Beijing Hutongs – It is where local beijingners lives. The Hutong date back to Yuan Dynasty with over 700 years history.
After lunch, drive to the outskirts of Beijing to spend an enjoyable time in the Summer Palace, The Temple of Putuo Zongxian is the birthplace of the Putuo Sect of Buddhism in China. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it is mainly dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. There are many ancient buildings and cultural relics in the temple, where you can worship and pray for blessings and feel the religious atmosphere while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the mountains.

This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory. Lunch is on your own and your guide will gladly assist.You will see the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.
Afterwards, we visit the famous National Museum of China, one of the largest museums in the world, playing an important role in displaying systematically Chinese culture, cultivating national spirit, leading the development of the cultural relics and museum field. The number of collections in the museum is more than 120 million pieces, being the richest museums with the largest number of collections. There are a total of 48 exhibition halls and there are exhibitions showing the collections and Chinese culture often. It is closed on Monday.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to start Pingyao Ancient City exploration.Your tour starts from the Ancient City Wall of Pingyao, The Ancient City Wall of Pingyao is one of the earliest surviving city walls in China and an important historical and cultural site and tourist attraction. Then you will move on to the Rishengchang Former Bank. It was the meeting place of the ancient Chamber of Commerce for business exchanges and deliberation of important matters. The Rishengchang is a magnificent and imposing building, showcasing the architectural style and city culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Later, visit the Temple of City God to appreciate the wonderful wood carvings, paintings and sculptures in the old temple.
After Pingyao Ancient City exploration, drive about 15 minutes to visit Shuanglin Temple. It gets its name from the two sky-high ancient pines in the temple, which look like a pair of unique forest trees. The Shuanglin Temple preserves numerous ancient architectural and artistic treasures, including the mountain gate, the Daxiongbao Hall, the Tibetan scripture building and the Lohan Hall.

After breakfast, drive about 1 hour to Zhangbi Ancient Castle, which is a series of tunnels dug to hide out in times of war in over 1380 years ago. You will be amazed by the fabulous feat of architecture and engineering in ancient time.
Later, move to Wang's Family Compound which covers an area of 22,000 square meters and is divided into three courtyards, the front, middle and back, with a total of more than 400 houses, including the main hall, compartments and courtyards. The architectural style of the compound is influenced by the cultures of many ethnic groups, including Han, Hui and Tibetan, and blends the Han-Tibetan style and northwest architectural features. The compound is beautifully decorated with paintings, carvings and colorful drawings, demonstrating the architectural art and lifestyle of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
After visiting, transfer to Pingyao Ancient Train Station for your high speed train to Xian (less than 3 hours). Upon arrival in Xian, the local guide and driver will meet you at the train station and take you to your hotel. Have a good rest today.

Today we start to explore the ancient city by driving to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Savor a delightful lunch at Xi'an Muslim Quater. Xi'an Muslim Quater is a large muslim area in Xi'an City. The Muslim population living in the quarter was about 33,000 people. It is well known for its food. There are tons of restaurants, food stores, souvenirs ...etc.

You will take a full day of sightseeing to explore both the past and present of Shanghai. Your first stop is Shanghai Museum, one of the Best Four Museums in China. Then you will take an interesting visit to Yu Garden, a shining star among all the ancient Chinese gardens in Jiangnan.
Take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River - the mother river of Shanghai.
