Arrive in Chengdu today, meet with the guide at Shuangliu airport, and then head for your hotel for rest.

Accomodation: Ovenight in Xinduqiao

Starting from Chengdu, you will drive along the most beautiful section of the longest national highway in China. Enter the “paradise of photographers” — Xinduqiao —after crossing the pass of the Zheduo Mountains. Due to the strong cut by the Minjiang River, Dadu River and other water systems, the geographical landform of the Dadu mountain line has a large topographic height difference, dense gullies, mountains and ridges, dense forests and warm climate, with typical subtropical warm and humid valley characteristics.

Continue to Daocheng via Litang. Enjoy the grassland scenery on Kazila Mountain. Walk around the sacred Daocheng Tibetan pagodas, also known as Zunsheng Tallin, victory tower, Tibetan called Lang Jie Qu Deng. It is said that when Shakyamuni was in nirvana, many of his family members prayed for the Buddha to keep the Dharma body in the world, and the Buddha ordered the pagoda to be built and personally extended the Enlightenment light to represent the Dharma body.

Visit Mount Haizi Scenic Area when you get close to Daocheng. Be impressed by the ancient glacier remains and the wild atmosphere.

Spend the whole day taking the long-route tour in Yading Nature Reserve including Chonggu Monastery, the snow-capped mountains of Jambeyang and Chanadorje, Luorong cattle farm, Wuse(‘Five Color’) Lake, and the Niunai (‘Milk’) Lakes. Today you will hike around 6-7 hours.(The national park area is vast so guide might change the visiting sights depending on the actual situation).

Take the short-route tour in Yading Nature Reserve in the afternoon. The Yading National Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province is mainly composed of three mountains, Xiannari, Yangmaiyong and Xiano Dorji, and the surrounding rivers, lakes and alpine meadows. 

Be fascinated by the color of Pearl Lake and walk through the yellow forest to Chenrezig Mountain. Today you will hike around 3-4 hours. Then transfer to Daocheng in the afternoon. (The national park area is vast so guide might change the visiting sights depending on the actual situation)

Travel back down to Litang. Enjoy the scenery which you will never get tired of gazing at. You can stop wherever you like for photos. You can also see the Yajiang River on the way. After that, you will go to the Qianhu Tibetan Villages consisting of 13 villages with 4000 tibetan dwellings. This is the highest ancient town in Sichuan Province. It was an important market town for the tea horse trade between Han and Tibet hundreds of years ago. In addition to the picturesque natural scenery, there is also a community of Tibetan villages with architectural art and historical charm.

Accomodation: Overnight in Kangding

Visit a Tibetan Village. Listen to the chant of Monks in peaceful Litang Monastery, also known as Litang Temple. Founded in 1580 by the Third Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso.  is the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist yellow temple in Kham District. Changqinchun Kol Cole is translated into Tibetan. Transfer to Kangding in the afternoon.

Transfer back to Chengdu from Kangding. Pass by the Luding Bridge, also known as Dadu Bridge, is an iron cable bridge across the Dadu River, which is the main landscape cultural relics of Luding Bridge Scenic Area.
