Upon your arrival at the Lhasa airport/railwaystation, your tour guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel and help you get checked in. You will have the rest of the day and evening to rest and relax to become acclimatized to the higher altitude of Tibet.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the incredible Potala Palace– which has a long history and is an important gateway for sharing Tibetan architecture and culture with the world.
Then we will move on to the spiritually significant Canggu Temple. It is an extremely revered and essential site in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. We'll stroll through Barkhor Street with its thriving local market where you can experience the historical lifestyle of Lhasa.

Lhasa’s Sho Dun Festival, alternately spelled “Shoton”, is one of the most important traditional festivals in Tibet. This festival celebrates the traditional Tibetan year and people engage in grand celebrations including prayers, dancing and singing. It is an important social and religious event and a time to showcase Tibetan culture and unite the people.
On the first day of the festival, the crowning jewel is the giant Thanka painting hung at Drepung Monastery. The rest of the festival is held primarily on the grounds of the Norbulingka Palace, with locals and visitors alike filing in to partake and enjoy the celebrations.
We will also visit Norbulingka Palace. It's like a stunning ancient building surrounded by a beautiful garden. Inside, you can discover many valuable historical items and treasures.

This morning we’ll take a drive up to Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three holy lakes, which is surrounded by snowy mountains and icy peaks all year round. According to local legends, it is said to be the manifestation of a goddess.
Later on we’ll be able to visit the Karola Glacier. It is one of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet and has been the outdoor shooting location for several movies. Late in the afternoon we will continue on to Shigatse where we will spend the night.

We will get an early start today to visit the Tashilunpo Monastery, which features the traditional Tibetan architectural style with Buddhist influences. It is also home to a vast collection of valuable artifacts from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, representing different periods of history.Yampachen: Far View
Located in Damxung County and 90 kilometers northwest of Lhasa, Yampachen is the first wet steam field developed in mainland China and the highest geothermal power station in the world.

Today is a great day for witnessing Tibet’s natural beauty. Namtso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, is renowned as a holy site in Tibetan Buddhism. The reflection of snow-capped mountains on its tranquil waters evokes a sense of peace and serenity. Every year on the 15th day of the fourth month in the Tibetan calendar, numerous laypeople gather at Namtso to celebrate the Saga Dawa Festival.
Then transfer back to Lhasa to visit The Jokhang Temple. The Jokhang Temple is an extremely revered and essential site in the history of Tibetan Buddhism.
A statue of the 12-year-old Sakyamuni, who lived in India in the fifth century BC, and who was the creator of Buddhism, is collected in the monastery. This is the reason why Buddhists consider Lhasa a Sacred Land.
