Your Chengdu tour starts in the early morning today, the guide will take you to Danba all the day. It is 340 kms' mountain road, you will cross either Mt. Jiajinshan of 4000 ms or Mt. Balangshan of 5040 ms. Mt. Jiajinshan, Natural tourism resources such as alpine meadow landscape, snow mountain landscape, mountain lake landscape, primitive forest landscape, rare animal and plant landscape can be enjoyed in the scenic spot. With its unique geographical environment, convenient transportation and huge altitude difference, Balang Mountain has created an excellent viewing platform for the sea of clouds, sunrise and starry sky. Which route to take depend on the road condition. But for us, we prefer route of Mt. Balangshan, there is a Chinese saying The Boundless vista is at the perilous peak. In this tour, tourist can enjoy the cloud sea and more snow peaks, also in the other side of Mt. Balangshan is paradise of giant panda, Wolong Nature Reserve.

And at the mountain pass of Mt. Balang, you have chance to enjoy the beautiful peaks of Siguniangshan. Located on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area is a World Natural Heritage site, known as the "Eastern Alps", its core attractions are three valleys and four peaks.

After tour of Jiaju village, your guide will take you to Suopo Tower house. At present, there are 562 ancient pillbox in Danba, of which 176 are in Suopo, which is the most densely distributed pillbox in the world.

Danba is known as the "country of 1,000 Diaofu" and "Oriental Pyramid".

In the afternoon you will continue your tour to Xinduqiao. In this tour, you can not miss Huiyuan Monastery for sure. It is a small monastery just a few miles off the main road, but it has high position in Tibet. The 7th Dalai Lame used to take refuge here due to invasion of Mongolian to Lhasa in 1728.

Xindu Bridge is known as a photographer's paradise, its beauty is not in Xindu Bridge town itself, but in Xindu Bridge town 2 km east to west along the 10 km scenic promenade. It is located at the fork of Sichuan-Tibet North-South Line, is the only place to pass through Sichuan-Tibet southern Line, but also a picturesque paradise. To the north of Xindu Bridge, in the direction of Tagong, there is a section of road known as the Ten Mile Gallery, with golden cypress trees on both sides of the road. Through the forest, go straight ahead, you can see a large meadow, under the blue sky and white clouds, a piece of golden.

And Tagong is another Tibetan town 30 kms away from it. Wide Tagong Grassland, huge Tagong Monastery, "Tagong" means "Bodhisattva's favorite place" in Tibetan language. It is known as the Jokhang Temple. Located in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, it was originally built in the seventh century and is a major temple of the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism.

Litang is boasting the Highest Town because of its sea level of 4014 meters. And it is important religious city in Tibetan plateau, Choekhorling Monastery, or we say Litang Monastery,is the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist yellow temple in Kham District. Changqinchun Kol Cole is translated into Tibetan.

By the way, the horse racing festival of Litang in August is regarded as the TOP 3 horse festivals in Tibetan plateau. In the afternoon you will arrive in Shangrila village, also called Riwa village. Riwa Village was renamed Shangri-La Town in 2001 with the approval of the Sichuan provincial government. Shangri-la means the sun and moon in the Tibetan language, and has become synonymous with the paradise in the novel Lost Horizon by British novelist James Hilton.

After 30 kms mountain road up the mountain, you will arrive in Yading National Park. Located in the southern part of Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in the east of the famous Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, in the middle of Hengduan Mountains, is a collection of snow mountains, glaciers, haizi, meadows, forests and other plateau scenery in a natural ecological reserve. Yadin Tibetan means "sunny place", also known as Nianqing Gong Ga song Kampo, that is, "holy land" meaning. It is a national 5A tourist attraction and the core of China's Shangri-La eco-tourism area.

 Arrive in Daocheng in the late afternoon, and then you can have a free walk in this quiet town.
