Hulun Buir Grassland is named after Hulun Lake and Bel Lake. The Hulun Buir Prairie off the beaten track is the largest and best-preserved prairie in China and is known as one of the world's top three grasslands. You can enjoy this 5-day classic tour. Welcome to Hulunbuir! Upon your arrival, your guide and driver will wait you at the arrival hall of the airport and then escort you to your hotel in Hailar District (9 kilometers and 20 minutes around by car), the downtown area of Hulunbuir City, by a comfortable licensed private vehicle (non-smoking). Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is on your own to explore Hailar.

Good morning! After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and then escort you to the most beautiful part of Hulunbuir Grassland, where dragon-like Morigele River winds through the wide-open prairie and rolling ridges are standing shoulder to shoulder in a distance. The car ride takes about 1 hour.
Landscape has already opened on the way. The whole Hailar District is built on the grassland, and thus you will get broad views of boundless steppe as soon as you leave Hailar. The terrain here is undulating, with rolling hills and higher elevation mountains, as well as numerous lakes and rivers, such as the Huinan River and the Argel River. On the grassland, you can enjoy the sight of running wild horses, herds of cattle and sheep, and feel the pure and free atmosphere of the grassland.
After your satisfying grassland tour, you will travel north to visit Erguna Wetland Scenic Area (Ergun Wetland) - the No.1 Wetland in Asia.With a wide variety of ecological landscapes, including swamps, lakes, grasslands and forests, this area is known as the "Green Pearl" of the north.Every spring and autumn, thousands of migratory birds migrate here from the south, making this wetland an internationally important habitat for migratory birds.
After that, drive north (4 hours around) to Shiwei Russian Town, which is a small Russian-dominated border town that retains Russian architecture and flavour. Here, visitors can experience interacting with ethnic Russians in China and learn about their cultural traditions, language and living customs.

Good morning! Your forest and grassland tour continues! After breakfast, your guide and driver will escort you to Haur River Scenic Area. You can enjoy the spectacular river scenery and the pristine forests of the Mangya forest area. There are cascading waterfalls, lakes and streams, and the banks of the river are covered by dense forests on both sides, making the scenery breathtaking. Visitors can choose to take a boat trip on the Howe River to enjoy the breathtaking scenery on both sides of the river and feel the serenity and beauty of nature.
Then, continue the driving to Heishantou. Along the way, you will pass through White Birch Forest.Entering the birch forest, you will see towering birches intertwined with bright green conifers, creating a unique landscape.
Then, drive for about 1.5 hours to Heishantou. Enjoy a moderate hiking to the "Sundown Slope" to enjoy the intoxicating sunset scenery over the vast wetland. When the red glow of the sunset fades away, you will go down the slope and then be escorted to the nearby Mongolian tribe for accommodation. Tonight, you will enjoy happy Bonfire Party with Mongolian girls and boys (free, but it may be cancelled in case of bad weather), and then stay overnight in adorable Mongolian yurts (with private bathroom) that you have seen many times. Have a nice sleep with the fresh smell of grasses.

Good morning! Today you will wake up in the grassland. After breakfast, you will spend your blissful morning in Heishantou, you can indulge in the emerald-like grassland that is awash with a blanket of multi-colored wildflowers.
Then, you will first enjoy an exciting driving trip along the Sino-Russian border road,which is an international transport route of strategic importance. It not only facilitates economic exchanges between China and Russia, but also promotes the development of the border areas.
After about 3 hours, you will arrive at Hulun Lake,which is an important ecological reserve with rich plant and animal resources. The lake is inhabited by a large number of migratory birds and aquatic animals, making it an ideal place for bird observation and wildlife viewing. In addition, you can also enjoy the cool waters of the lake with fishing, swimming, boating and other water activities
After the lake tour, keep driving to Manzhouli, where China meets Russia and Mongolia. Head to Manzhouli Matryoshka Plaza. More than 200 lovely or large or small Russian nesting dolls are scattered around the square.You can learn about the history and production process of nesting dolls, admire the different sizes and styles of nesting doll creations, and choose your favourite one as a souvenir or gift.Tonight, you will accommodate in hotel in Manzhouli.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will escort you to Hulunbuir National Museum,which collects a large number of cultural relics, handicrafts, photographs and documents related to the local ethnic groups, and through exhibitions and displays, it shows visitors the history, culture and lifestyles of these ethnic groups. The museum usually displays ethnic costumes, traditional handicrafts, religious beliefs, and residential styles, enabling people to better understand the rich ethnic diversity of the Hulunbeier region.
After the museum tour, your guide and driver will escort you to the Hulunbuir Dongshan International Airport to catch your flight to next destination or home. Tour ends!
