Upon your arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up at the airport or railway station, they will escort you to the hotel that we have booked for you, and they will help you with check-in. The rest of the day is up to you, you can make your own arrangements as you like.

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel, then be driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is near the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Minjiang rivers. The giant Buddha is the seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China. The Big Buddha is a statue of Maitreya, graceful and magnanimous, and is praised by the poet as "a mountain is a Buddha, and a Buddha is a mountain."

After the Giant Buddha visit, drive about 45mins to Baoguo Temple,One of the national key temples, 533 meters above sea level. The temple faces south and covers an area of 100 mu. Originally the largest temple in the mountains, its original site in the Fuhu Temple opposite the Yoga River, was built in the Ming Wanli years, formerly known as the Huizang Hall

While traveling deeper into the temple, you will enjoy different views of Mount Emei.

Lastly, drive to check in your hotel. Have a good rest for tomorrow's Mount Emei trip which has some walkings involved.

We highly recommend you to take a 30 minutes’ sightseeing boat to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Giant Buddha on the river.

After breakfast, follow your guide to the excursion bus that will take you to the cable car station. Board the cable car with your guide to ascend Emei Shan to the Golden Summit.

The scenic area can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise, and also worship the world's highest golden Buddha - the four sides of the universal sage icon. Standing on the mountain, you can sometimes see Chengdu Plain and Gongga Snow Mountain.There are scenic spots such as the Huazang Temple and the Ten Fang Puxian Bodhisattva icon.

After disembarking, you will find yourself in a sea of clouds at an altitude of 9,842 feet (3,000 meters). If you get up early enough, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the top of the mountain where many people travel from far and wide. Visit the tallest golden statue, the Woyun Nunnery and Hua Zang Si, which stands at 157 feet (48 meters). Explore two traditional Buddhist temples, Wolunan and Huazang Temple, where you'll find countless padlocks engraved with couples' names, symbolizing eternal love. After a full day on Mount Emei, your guide will take you back to the cable car for your descent, where you will begin your journey back to Chengdu.

Ten Thousand Buddha Top (Ten Thousand Buddha Peak) Optional Tour:Wanfoding （Ten Thousand Buddha Top） (3,099 meters) is the highest peak of Mount Emei, which is currently reopened for visitors under 60 years old, but the opening hours are from 07:00~14:00, and the maximum number of people that can be accommodated per day is only 2,000 people. If you want to visit the Top of Ten Thousand Buddhas, time permitting, please discuss with your guide. Visiting the Top of Ten Thousand Buddhas usually takes 2~3 hours.

This morning you will make a memorable visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Here is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.

Chengdu is famous throughout China for its relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle, which will be demonstrated by a visit to the City’s People's Park. Here you can catch sight of many local people, they chat, they play chess, you can fully immerse yourself in this harmonious atmosphere.

Next will be an impressive visit to the famous Jinli Old Street. Stepping into the green stone that has been trampled by pedestrians as smooth as a mirror, the old streets, mansions, mansions, residential houses, inns, shops, Waniantai come into view, the green tiles and gray walls are scattered, and the cornice is raised high, making people feel as if time and space are flowing backward, and truly feel the ancient simple Han style and the charm of Ming and Qing dynasties.

After the tour, you will be taken to the airport / train station for your flight or train to next destination or home.
