In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel, and then be driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is near the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Minjiang rivers. The giant Buddha is the seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China. The Big Buddha is a statue of Maitreya, graceful and magnanimous, and is praised by the poet as "a mountain is a Buddha, and a Buddha is a mountain."

Notes: You may have to queue up to enter the stone stairway if you visit the Giant Buddha during the busy hours. After the close view of Giant Buddha, leave the scenic area and appreciate a 30 minutes' amazing boat experience. The boat will drive you to front of the Giant Buddha and appreciate a wonderful panoramic view of him.

After your sightseeing in Leshan, you will be transferred back to Chengdu.

Recommended Optional Evening Activities: 1) enjoy a delicious dinner of Sichuan cuisine (or hotpot) at a local restaurant; 2) watch a wonderful performance of Sichuan Opera which includes folk opera, face changing, fire spitting, rolling lights, and other delightful entertainment (usually performs during 20:00~21:30).

This morning you will make a stirring visit to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Here is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.

Chengdu is famous throughout China for its relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle, which will be demonstrated by a visit to the City’s People's Park. You can hanging around, chat with local people as you like, these people are very friendly, you can learn how to play chess frome them, which hot-pot is the most delicious one.

Next will be an impressive visit to the famous Jinli Old Street.  Stepping into the green stone that has been trampled by pedestrians as smooth as a mirror, the old streets, mansions, mansions, residential houses, inns, shops, Waniantai come into view, the green tiles and gray walls are scattered, and the cornice is raised high, making people feel as if time and space are flowing backward, and truly feel the ancient simple Han style and the charm of Ming and Qing dynasties.

Your Chengdu tour is now about to end. You will be escorted to your hotel or airport/train station to catch the flight/train.
