In this morning, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and escort you to Mount Qingcheng. Surrounded by undulating peaks and lush trees, it enjoys the reputation of "Qingcheng world secluded". It is the holy land of the Quanzhenlongmen Sect of Taoism and one of the famous Taoist mountains in China.
After Mount Qingcheng visiting, you’ll be driven to Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Dujiangyan is the only grand water conservancy project in the world today, which has a long history and is characterized by no dam diversion. It makes full use of the local geographical conditions of high northwest and low southeast, according to the special topography, water veins and water potential at the mouth of the river, take advantage of the potential to guide, no dam water diversion, self-flow irrigation, so that dikes, water distribution, flood discharge, sand discharge and flow control are interdependent, a total system, to ensure the full play of the comprehensive benefits of flood control, irrigation, water transportation and social water use. Its greatest point is that the weir has been built for more than 2250 years, and it is playing more and more benefits.
You’ll take a walk to visit the three components and as well as Erwang Temple. After the tour, be driven back to Chengdu for accommodation and have a good rest tonight.

Chengdu is called the “Hometown of Giant Pandas”, which give you the best chance to see the cutest animal in the world. Chengdu Panda Base is the closest panda base to see over 100 giant pandas and their baby pandas. It is about 10 kilometers from city center, taking about 30-40 minutes’ for driving. Head to Chengdu Panda Base in the early morning and spend several hours inside. You’ll pay a visit to the Giant Panda Museum to know many scientific facts about pandas, walk through the verdant bamboo grove to different giant enclosures to see pandas in different ages, watch lovely pandas outdoor climbing trees, eating bamboo shoots, sleeping on the ground, as well, you can have a close look at the newborn pink panda babies being well taken care of...Cherish the time with the pandas and take photos as many as possible.
With a history over 1000 years, Wenshu Monastery is the largest and best-preserved Buddhist monastery situated in Chengdu downtown area. Once entering into this peaceful temple, you can see many locals worshiping and burning incense. And you’ll pass five halls in sequence including Tianwang Hall, Sandatu Hall, Daxiong Hall, Shuofa Hall and Cangjing Hall. Wenshu Monastery exhibits many precious cultural relics and treasures with over 300 Buddha statues. Enjoy a relaxing walk in this elegant monastery and if you like try the vegetarian food in its restaurant.
Renmin Park located in downtown area is the best place to feel the leisure spirit of Chengdu. In this comfortable park, you can see many locals doing the calligraphy on the ground, dancing happily in group, even engaging in matchmaking...After the visiting, take a rest in the largest and best-preserved tea house called Heming Tea House to have a cup of green tea and if you are interested, you can learn to play Mahjong or try traditional ear treatment. How time flies!
The last stop today is Jinli Old Street, the first street of Shu Kingdom with a history over 1800 years. Decorated with western Sichuan style architectures of Qing Dynasty, Jinli Old Street is the best place to explore culture of Three Kingdom period and folk culture of Chengdu. Strolling down the narrow street, you’ll find yourselves surrounded by a world of stores selling Shu Embroidery, folk handicrafts, curios, calligraphy and paintings. Besides, numerous snacks are displayed in front of you and try some favored ones to satisfy your taste buds.
