In the morning, our driver and guide can meet you at the Chengdu hotel at 09:00am or Chengdu airport/train station then transfer to the Leshan and need 2.5hrs driving, 150km. Note: If you need us meet you at the airport/train station, you should be there before 13:00pm.
Experience the Giant Buddha of Leshan, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is near the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Minjiang rivers. The giant Buddha is the seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China. The Big Buddha is a statue of Maitreya, graceful and magnanimous, and is praised by the poet as "a mountain is a Buddha, and a Buddha is a mountain."
Next, go to Bao Guo Temple. One of the national key temples, 533 meters above sea level. The temple faces south and covers an area of 100 mu. Originally the largest temple in the mountains, its original site in the Fuhu Temple opposite the Yoga River, was built in the Ming Wanli years, formerly known as the Huizang Hall, moved here in the early Qing Dynasty, Shunzhi nine years of reconstruction; In the forty-second year of Kangxi, the emperor Kangxi took the meaning of "serving the country's main grace" in the Buddhist sutra "Four graces and four newspapers", and the imperial title of "Serving the country's Temple" was inscribed on the board, which was written by Wang Fan.

In the morning, Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby at 08:00am then head to Emei mountain tickets office. It is one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism. According to legend, it is the place where the Bodhisattva should be transformed. Buddhism believes that the Bodhisattva symbolizes virtue.
It is a world cultural and natural heritage, a national civilized scenic tourism demonstration site, a national 5A tourist attraction, one of China's four famous Buddhist mountains, and a scenic spot in Sichuan.
Today is a full day tour of Mount Emei. First of all, take the sightseeing bus to the front of the station, the drive is about 2 hours, because of the rugged mountain road, please try to sit in the front of the car, drink less water in the morning. Mount Emei is not only a famous world cultural and natural heritage site, but also one of the four major Buddhist mountains in China, with more than 5,000 species of plants (more than the total number of plants in Europe) and more than 2,300 species of wildlife. It is an ideal place for hiking, Buddhist culture exploration, photography, winter vacation, summer vacation, and all year round.
After arriving at Leitongping Bus Station, it will take about 30 minutes to walk to Zhuyingding Ropeway station. Then take the ropeway to the top of Emei mountain - Jinding. The scenic area can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise, and also worship the world's highest golden Buddha - the four sides of the universal sage icon. Standing on the mountain, you can sometimes see Chengdu Plain and Gongga Snow Mountain.There are scenic spots such as the Huazang Temple and the Ten Fang Puxian Bodhisattva icon.
After taking the cable car, only a few minutes of shaking, we can see the golden top, and can stay in the golden top for 40-60 minutes. The experience at Jinding is wonderful - the glittering golden Buddha statues, the magnificent temples, the endless sea of clouds, the fresh air, etc.
Next, take the cable car and shuttle bus back to the peak (the original way up the mountain), and of course, if you want to see more, stop at Wannabe Temple and then hike for a while, which you can discuss with our guide.
When we reach the tickets office, we will have a lunch before the transfer back to Chengdu.
