After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby at agreed time. Then we will drive along the international highway(China and Pakistan highway) that links Kashgar and Pakistan to Karakul Lake. The lake is in the mountains in the environmental protection, the lake water and grass, often Kirgiz herdsmen stationed here. Karakuli Lake is one of the few highland lakes in the world. Every year in summer and autumn, is the base camp of mountaineering tourists, but also passing travellers to visit the place of excursion.
By the way, the scenery along the highway is as enchanting as that at the lake site.

Today we will spend a day touring the Kashgar Old Town. The Kashgar Old Town is one of the world's largest existing raw earth architectural complexes, with crisscrossing streets and lanes, and buildings of different heights. It is currently the only well-preserved labyrinthine city block featuring Islamic culture. In July 2015, Kashgar Old Town Scenic Spot was rated as a national 5A scenic spot, and it became the first national 5A historical and humanistic scenic spot in Xinjiang.
Walking in the streets and alleys of Kashgar Ancient City, there is a feeling of travelling through time and space: on one side is the new city with tall buildings, on the other side is the ancient labyrinthine complex, on one side is the clanking sound of hammering coming out of the traditional smithy, on the other side is the gust of aroma wafting out of the coffee shop.
Next tour the Id Kah Mosque. The mosque was also an important institution for spreading Islamic culture and training talents in ancient times, training many Islamic clergymen and scholars, and other influential poets, literary scholars, historians and translators, which had a certain influence on the religious circles both at home and abroad.
At the end of the day tour, we will transfer you to Kashgar railway station for the night train to Turpan. The train journey lasts about 15 hours.

After an overnight train ride, you will arrive in Turpan the next morning and your guide and driver will wait for you at the train station to pick you up and send you to visit Karez Well. Karez Well drew out the groundwater and turned the desert into an oasis, which was called a "well canal" in ancient times. Because of the peculiar structure and extraordinary function of the Karez Well irrigation system, it has been attracting people's attention for a long time.
Next, we will tour the 44-meter-high Sugong Pagoda, aka Emin Minaret. It is the largest existing Minaret in Xinjiang, which was built in 1778 A.D. and has a history of more than 230 years. It was built by the famous Uyghur patriot Emin and Zhuo, the king of Turpan County, in order to repay the favour of the Qing Dynasty, express his piety to Allah and to make his lifelong performance known to future generations, and he paid 7000 taels of silver for the construction of the pagoda.
Then we will drive to Jiaohe Ruins. Take your time to walk and stroll. The once bustling neighbourhoods and temples have been preserved, and some of the structures can still be imagined. Walking to the centre of the main road of the old city, from the observation deck, in addition to the old city and the old village, ethnic characteristics of the building. Immersed in the long river of history of the Jiaoxie, only mottled and pale still hides a huge unsolved mystery.

After breakfast, we will go to visit Bezikrik Thousand Buddha Caves, situated high on the cliffs of the Mutou Valley. Berziklik Thousand Buddha Cave is the cave group with the largest number of caves and the richest mural content among the existing caves in Turpan, and is one of the larger Buddhist cave temple sites in Xinjiang. It is also the one with the highest specifications, which used to be the royal monastery of the Gaochang Huifeng Kingdom.
Later pay a visit to Tuyu Village. It is a tranquil village, with herds of cattle and sheep. The locals are warm and hospitable. As the ancient Chinese poet Tao Yuanming described, "Arcadia". If you want to explore the life of Tuwa people, they will be excited to invite you into their home to experience their life.
Our last stop at Turpan will be the Flaming Mountains. Flaming Mountain is the most famous attraction in Turpan. Located at the northern edge of the Turpan Basin, on the northern route of the ancient Silk Road, it is mainly composed of reddish sandstone, conglomerate and mudstone from the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary periods of the Mesozoic Era.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Urumqi in 3 hours and tour the largest bazaar in the world - Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar. The most famous attraction is the Silk Road Sightseeing Tower in the centre of the square, which has colourful paintings and exhibitions on all floors, showing the historical stories of the Silk Road. It is a gathering place and exhibition centre for Islamic culture, architecture, ethnic commerce, entertainment and catering.

After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours to visit the Heavenly Lake at Tianshan Mountain. The scenery is like a fairyland. The scenic area encompasses alpine lakes, wetland meadows, forest canyons and other natural landscapes, and in 2013, the scenic area was named a National Geopark by the state.
In the afternoon, we will explore the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum with numerous collections. The collections of the museum include silk, wool, cotton and linen fabrics (including brocade, qi, damask, Luo, yarn, Aman, silk, printing and dyeing, embroidery and a large number of Han and Tang silk fabrics such as blankets, felts, tapestries, embroidery and other ancient woollen fabrics), instruments and documents written in various scripts (Han, Huijuan, and Guillou), wood carvings, clay figurines and figures on paper and silk from the Jin and Tang dynasties, flower-wool paintings, bronzes with characteristics of the Scythian culture and costumes and artifacts from the brotherly ethnic groups of Xinjiang. After breakfast, we will take a long ride to Burqin County, located about 700km away from Urumqi. Upon arrival, go to visit Five-colored Beach. Today the Kanas Lake tour continues! When it’s completed, we will take a 2.5 hour ’ ride to Hemu Village. The houses in Hemu Village are all made of logs, full of primitive flavour.
The most famous thing about Hemu Village is the intoxicating autumn colours of all the red mountains, the cooking smoke rises in the autumn colours, forming a fantastic belt of smoke, which is like a fairyland. On the hill around Hemu village, you can overlook the panoramic view of Hemu village and the Hemu River: the ghosts of empty valleys, small bridges and flowing water, and horse herders dusting through the forest.

Take a morning walk to leave Hemu Village. Then drive past the famous oil city - Karamy, across the Gurbantunggut Desert to reach Urho Ghost City. Here is a typical Yadan landform. And between the stone pillars, often the wind whistling, like a ghost crying, sounds creepy.
