After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the incredible Potala Palace–which has a long history and is an important gateway for sharing Tibetan architecture and culture with the world.
Then we will move on to the spiritually significant Jokhang Temple. It is an extremely revered and essential site in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. We'll stroll through Barkhor Street with its thriving local market where you can experience the historical lifestyle of Lhasa.

Today features visits to 2 of the most important monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism – the Drepung and Sera Monasteries. Drepung Monastery is the biggest monastery in Tibet. It's a stunning sight that's perfect for taking memorable photos.
After Drepung, we will move on to the Sera Monastery, one of the three great monasteries in Lhasa.Many of its main halls still preserve ancient frescoes, showcasing their historical and artistic significance. Its main activity is sutra debating and is a traditional academic activity in which monks deepen their understanding, cultivate wisdom and pass on the Dharma by debating the contents of the Buddhist classics.

After breakfast we’ll set out towards the peak of the world – Mount Everest. Departing from Shigatse and traveling via Lhatse and Tingri, you will see some of the most beautiful and unique scenery in the world –incredibly blue skies, floating high clouds and it offers the best panoramic views of Everest. We’ll also stop by the Rongbuk Monastery – is located at the foot of Mount Everest, and the world’s highest altitude monastery, before spending the night at the Everest Base Camp.

After enjoying the magnificent sunrise over Mt Everest, we will explore another place - Saga from EBC.The distance between EBC and Saga is about 450 kilometers. It takes about 9 hours to reach the destination. There are several not-to-be-missed attractions here, including Mount Mt.Shishapangma, and Lake Peikucuo Lake. After a short break, we will continue our drive to Saga.

Although it is a long way from Saga to Dahing, the natural beauty of the area is truly fascinating. Here, most of the nomadic herders live and they make their living by herding animals. Therefore, this is the best place for you to see endless grasslands, countless sheep and yaks, peaceful villages and rustic Tibetans. It is also known as the Thrill Route due to the complicated road conditions, sandy routes and steep cliffs. However, you can still see many devout pilgrims walking on the path around Mt Kailashi. When you reach Darchen in the afternoon, time is free.

In the morning, you will take an eco-bus to Sarshung Valley. Then, you will start your trek from Sarchung Valley to Dirakpuk Monastery. The whole trek from Sarchung Valley to Dirakpuk Monastery is about 18 kilometers. Dirakpuk Monastery (5210m) is located in Phulan District, north of the holy mountain Gonchabodzi. It is the best place to view the backside of Mt. Gonchabodzi and a resting place for pilgrims. After the trek, you will spend the night at the guesthouse of Dirakpuk Monastery.

When you wake up in the morning and walk outside, you will be mesmerized by the views around you, especially the Mount Kailash dominating the skyline. Today, you will trek from Dirakpuk Monastery to Zuktulpuk Monastery which is very challenging. The trek is about 18 kilometers and takes about 7 hours. During the trek, you will climb Dromala Pass, the highest pass in the Kola Mountains. When you reach the top of Dromala Pass, you can stop at the top to take a break and have something to eat. You will then begin a steep descent into a long valley where you will stop for lunch at the Shabjay Dakpo nomadic tents. After lunch, you will continue to approach Zutupuk. From here, soon you will see Zuktupuk Monastery (4820m). Today, Milarepa's footprints and handprints can still be seen in the miraculous caves of Zuktupuk Monastery.

Today, you will hike about 14 kilometers, which is relatively easy. After circling the sacred mountain, you will take a shuttle bus to Dachen. You will then meet your driver in Dachen and drive to Lake Manasarovar, one of the three great lakes of Tibet, a mysterious and magnificent plateau lake. Known as the "Mirror of the Sky", it has clear blue water and is surrounded by mountains, making it a beautiful and fascinating sight. After enjoying the magnificent scenery of Lake Manasarovar, you will head to Payang.

Today, you will travel from Saga from Payang. On the way, you will pass by many villages and campsites where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery out of the car window. Moreover, your driver will stop and give you some time to take some nice photos.
