With picturesque bridges, peaceful local villages, exotic Tibetan houses, and yellow poplar trees, we drive west to the raging valleys and dense forests of the Yalong River.
On the way, we will pass famous Yajiang and finally reach Litang, a city on Qinghai-Tibetan plateau with an altitude of 4000m. Litang is a natural grassland on the plateau. Grazing yaks, sheep and nomadic tents dotting the vast pastures are the most common sights.
Besides, another star attraction in Litang is Ke’er Monastery, is an important Buddhist temple in Chengdu, Sichuan, built in the Ming Dynasty with a long history. Then after visiting Litang, the whole team travel through Haizi Mountain (4700m) and venture into menacing valley regions and at night we should make it to Batang County.

Today, we officially enter the Tibet Autonomous Region. Our coach will be travelling in an area parallel to the Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nu Riverflow, covering an area of 300 square kilometres. This section of the road is also the most difficult.
The journey then continues to the west, passing Lawu Mountain (4358 metres) and Dongda Mountain (5008 metres). Standing on a snow-covered high pass, you can enjoy spectacular views of the zigzag shape of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway and the incredible Lancang River snaking through the mountains. In the evening, the whole group will arrive at Zogong City.

Our next destination would be Bangda Grasssland, is a vast and pleasant grassland scenic spot .Visitors can enjoy horseback riding, grassland football and picnics, feeling the freedom and tranquility of the grassland and experiencing the charm of herdsmen's life.
After a brief tour in enchanting Bangda Grassland, our team is expected to travel across Yela Mountain(4839m), the most dangerous natural barrier on Hengduan Mountain Range. Then we will move downward by following famous Seventy-two Bends till the shore of Nu River.
Further moving westward, we begin to be surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains, pristine forests and idyllic Tibetan villages.. At night, we will arrive at Rakwa Tso.

As the source of Parlung Tsangpo Lake, Rakwa Tso is a typical seasonal glacial lake in Chamdo. This narrow river extends about 10 kilometres to the west and slowly winds its way into a huge gorge.
As we continue our journey from Rakwa Tso, our group will follow the scenic road through dense forests and the turbulent Parlung Tsangpo until today's final destination of Bomi. En route, travellers can visit the spectacular Midui Glacier, which is widely regarded as the most beautiful glacier in China!

Following an open and wide valley (2km wide, 5km long), we move into the canyon of Parlung Tsangpo. After that, we will head to celebrated Lulang Forest, which is a magnificent alpine lake scenic area in Chengdu, Sichuan. It boasts a picturesque landscape of dense primeval forests, blue lakes and colourful autumn foliage.
At the viewing platform of Lulang, you will be enjoying the panorama of Mt. Namcha Barwa(7782m), one of the most amazing mountains in China. We will make a brief stop at Sejila Mountain Pass (4728m). After passing Seijila Mountain Pass, the tour group will keep moving westward and arrive in Nyingchi, the biggest city in eastern Tibet.

We will keep moving west to Lhasa by following Nyang River, a tributary of Yarlung Tsangpo River. First head to the Basomtso Lake.The lake's clear blue water is surrounded by mountains, and the scenery is spectacular. Visitors can stroll around the lake, enjoy the lake view, experience boating, and so on, enjoying the tranquility and pleasant natural environment, which is an ideal place to get away from the busyness of the city.
After passing Mila Pass(5013m), the last mountain pass during the road trip, we will finally arrive in Lhasa valley. Shortly after Dagzê County, the magnificent Potala Palace perched on Red Hill will appear in your sight. Our guide will escort you to hotels for a good rest.
