Welcome to Chengdu! After retrieving your luggage, you will find your local guide waiting for you in the Arrival Hall of the airport, holding a welcome sign with your name on it. After a warm greeting, you will be taken to the hotel in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle and your guide will help you with the check-in.

In the morning, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha , also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is near the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Minjiang rivers. The giant Buddha is the seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China.

After the Giant Buddha visit, go to Baoguo Temple, the biggest temple of Mount Emei at the mountain foot.Originally the largest temple in the mountains, its original site in the Fuhu Temple opposite the Yoga River, was built in the Ming Wanli years, formerly known as the Huizang Hall, moved here in the early Qing Dynasty, Shunzhi nine years of reconstruction.

This morning set out for Mount Emei. It is a world cultural and natural heritage, a national civilized scenic tourism demonstration site, a national 5A tourist attraction, one of China's four famous Buddhist mountains, and a scenic spot in Sichuan.

Once you get to the Golden Summit,the scenic area can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise, and also worship the world's highest golden Buddha - the four sides of the universal sage icon. Standing on the mountain, you can sometimes see Chengdu Plain and Gongga Snow Mountain.

This morning you will make a stirring visit to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base. 

You will be taken to a hidden spiritual Buddhist temple in the bustling downtown of Chengdu - Wenshu Temple. Adjacent to the monastery is a small bazaar (Wenshufang) where you can experience local market and living style. To truly experience the slow life of Chengdu people, you must go to the "Renmin Park". Experience the authentic "city life" and feel the daily life of Chengdu people. You can go directly to the People's Park.

After a short break, you’ll start a memorable tour in Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan Ancient Town). Established in the Ming dynasty as a commercial center, Lijiang Ancient Town is a well-preserved 800-year-old town for Naxi ethnic group, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. This ancient city is well-preserved with stone streets, small bridges and ancient buildings, showing the traditional culture and style of the Naxi people. You can stroll around the ancient city, visit the ancient buildings, taste the local cuisine, and also feel the strong historical atmosphere.

First, you’ll be transferred out of Lijiang Old Town to Yuhu Village which is located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. There are old Bai dwellings, ancient wells, ancient trees and other scenery, preserving the traditional Bai culture and architectural features.

Later, head to Baisha Village and appreciate the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings. It is part of the Erhai Scenic Area in Dali. This village is situated on the Erhai Sea and is surrounded by mountains and vegetation with pleasant scenery. Then, it is followed by a relaxing trip to Shuhe Ancient Town - one of the earliest settlements of Naxi people as well as the well-preserved stop of the Ancient Tea Horse Route.

After that, transfer to Dongba Culture Museum where more than 10,000 Dongba cultural relics show mysterious Dongba culture of the Naxi people. It is one of the largest comprehensive museums in Yunnan Province. With the theme of showcasing Yunnan's history, culture and folklore, the museum collects and displays a large number of cultural relics and artifacts, including bronzes, ceramics, stone carvings and paintings. Take a gentle walk to Black Dragon Pool Park to enjoy gorgeous view.

First, drive to view the First Bend of Yangtze River. It is a magnificent bend in the Yangtze River formed here. The scenery is extremely spectacular with its treacherous mountains, rushing river and sweeping clouds. You can choose to take a boat tour to enjoy the magnificence and grandeur of the Nujiang River scenery.

Later, be transferred to visit the one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyon in the world - Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is also a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site called Three Parallel of Yunnan Protected Areas. It is one of the deepest canyons in the world and a magnificent gorge formed by the Yangtze River here.

Visit to Dukezong Old Town. It is an important place for the local Lisu people to live and communicate with each other, as well as a part of the ancient Tea Horse Road. It is also an important window into the culture and history of Yunnan's ethnic groups, allowing people to better understand and cherish the rich and diverse cultural heritage of this region.

First, you’ll visit to Songzanlin Monastery (Ganden Sumtseling Gompa), reputed as the “Little Potala Palace” for it was built according to the complex of Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. Then, drive to Pudacuo National Park. Its establishment and protection are of great significance in promoting awareness of ecological conservation, protecting rare species and maintaining ecological balance.

After the merry time in the park, pay a visit to a local Tibetan family to experience the highly-praised hospitality of Tibetan people and taste some special Tibetan snacks and butter tea.You can stay in a Tibetan family, taste local specialties, participate in traditional festival celebrations and feel the warmth and purity of the Tibetan people.

After a short break, you’ll start a tour to the famous Western Hills which is a theme park showcasing the culture of Yunnan's ethnic minorities. Here you can learn about Yunnan's multi-ethnic culture, traditional architecture, handicrafts and traditional folk activities. It is a good place to interact with various ethnic minorities.

You will not miss the symbolic visit to the magic Dragon Gate as it says “If you do not visit Western Hill, you haven't visited Kunming; if you do not come to Dragon Gate, you haven't been to Western Hills”. Then, go to visit Kunming Green Lake. You can take a walk through the park, enjoy the scenery, feed the birds or just sit on a bench and relax.

Kunming Stone Forest which is a world natural heritage and a national 5A scenic spot.
